The locking assembly SZ is a self-centering locking assembly that can be mounted using a single screw. Thanks to its compact size, it is very space-saving. It can also be reused.
Locking assemblies, also known as shaft-hub connections are indispensable today. These are non-positive connections, so that no machining of the shaft is necessary. This saves time and money.
Properties
The locking assembly SZ is available with inside diameters between 4 mm and 20 mm. It consists completely of stainless steel 1.4301. The locking assembly shown here is mounted on a drive shaft with 15 mm diameter and has an outside diameter of 20 mm.
What makes the locking assembly SZ so special?
The locking assembly is backlash-free and no machining of the shaft is necessary. Due to the low concentricity accuracy — the concentricity tolerance is only ±0.01 mm — it has good vibration characteristics because it is practically balanced.
