Machine foot with floor mounting
The machine foot as an hinged foot as well as its floor mounting
Machines, work tables or plant equipment such as fixtures and auxiliary frames, in many cases require safe anchoring with the highest possible accuracy with regard to their levelling. The precision and reliability of the floor fixing is the main factor for a reliable and rational production in the long run. In this context, the machine foot can be seen as the decisive factor which represents the ideal solution for meeting the specific requirements. The type of anchoring is of particular importance here. With low horizontal and vertical loads, anchor bolts can often be dispensed with, since specially developed anti-slip soles and pads with suction profiles are used in their place. The pivot foot in particular is the focal point here, as no consideration needs to be given to ground inclinations or unevenness when fastening it.
Setting the anchor bolts
All footplate diameters, from 80 mm to 123 mm, are provided with holes for anchor bolts. After the positions of the machine feet have been transferred from the frame to be anchored to the floor, the foot plates are positioned accordingly. The dowel hole is marked directly through the hole drilled in the foot plates. The plastic or metal dowels to be used correspond to the diameter of the anchor bolts used. It should be noted that the anchor bolts are not yet tightened so that minor corrections can still be made after the frame has been set up. Eccentric machine feet are available in extreme situations in which only one-sided fastening is possible.
