Heavy-duty castor series – compatible despite different designs
The heavy-duty castors from Sigerist are, as the name suggests, used to move heavy loads.
Depending on the intended use, different requirements are placed on such a castor. In order to do justice to this circumstance and to ensure that the specified purpose can be optimally fulfilled, a combination of wheels with different characteristics is sometimes required. Our heavy-duty castors are designed in such a way that different designs can be used in combination without any problems.
Combinations of heavy-duty castors
A low overall height and a high load-bearing capacity of up to 600 kg per wheel link the products in the series. This also applies to the wheel, which is equipped with a ball bearing, and the tread of wheel, for which nylon is used in all versions. The black lacquered steel housing also makes a good impression visually.
Fixed castor or swivel castor? With brake or without?
A screwable plate or threaded pin is an integral part of the product for fixing the castors. The heavy duty castor is available as a fixed castor or swivel castor. In addition to the versions without brakes, versions with brakes are also available.
