Shaft-hub connection: Locking assembly SZ

Shaft-hub connection: Locking assembly SZ

Shaft-hub connection: Locking assembly SZ

A method of positive or non-positive locking is required as a shaft-hub connection. The torque to be transmitted (radial force) can thus be transferred correctly.

The locking assembly SZ offers various advantages over other shaft-hub connections:

1Cost-effective use as shaft-hub connection

With this shaft-hub connection, machining of the shaft and hub is completely unnecessary due to the way it is assembled. This allows costs to be saved.

2No damage to shaft and hub

Neither keyway nor cross bore or thread are necessary. This means that the shaft and hub are not damaged.

3Easy assembly and disassembly of the shaft-hub connection

Installation and removal are easy. This is also due to the fact that the locking assembly requires little installation space. Because it is fastened with only one nut, the clamping set is automatically tightened evenly during assembly. Only a spanner is needed for assembly.

4High concentricity

High concentricity is achieved because there is no play between shaft and bore.

The SZ clamping set is available with inner diameters from 3 to 20 mm and is made entirely of stainless steel.
