Design of a machine foot
Machine feet consist of a threaded rod and a foot plate. The threaded rod, which is used to attach the machine foot to the machine or implement, is anchored or cast in the foot plate. The threaded rod allows infinite leveling of the machine. Sigerist machine feet are available with threaded rods as well as foot plates made of plastic, steel or stainless steel.
Types of machine feet from Sigerist
- In addition to the standard version for free-standing installation, screw-through machine feet are also available for anchoring to the floor.
- Machine feet with vibration-damping properties are available for machines that are likely to be subject to strong oscillations and high vibration.
- To compensate for unevenness and inclinations of the existing ground, versions with joint function have been developed. These so-called articulated feet automatically compensate for unfavourable floor conditions.
Sizes and load capacity of the machine feet
Sigerist machine feet are available with foot plates in diameters from 40 to 123 mm. The machine feet have maximum load capacities from 500 to 2000 kg.
